I've hosted my own email since around 1994. Thanks to the complication of such endeavor including, but not exclusive to, spotty bandwidth, SPF, DomainKeys, TMDA, crashing CLAM-AV virus scanners, BINC-IMAP, and the brittle wiring between these things held together by Net/FreeBSD, qmail, and vpopmail. Many thanks to Tuffmail, I know your pain, and I'm glad I no longer share it.
