Was starting to be concerned that my MacBookPro wasn't buggy, unlike nearly all my previous Apple purchases. But today while doing some heavy cpu work, this noise showed up to compete with the bleeps from my Last.fm player.
And it starts the day before I leave for Belgium for a week, and a day after I just got back from the Apple store in San Mateo.
Installing two interesting apps for this problem.
Very annoying...
That's a bum fan bearing if I've ever heard one. In theory it's a $5 part to replace the fan. In reality... well... our thoughts are with you. And there I was thinking the processor squeal on my mbp was annoying. =)
