Quick note that I'll be at SXSW Interactive this year. Serendipity has put me in Dallas the days prior to work on a few BPM case studies. So I decided to hang on in Texas a few extra days and check out the conference in Austin. I should mention that this trip will be doubly interesting for me.
I recently purchased an Infrant ReadyNAS x6 for all my durable storage needs. Ignoring the fact that they released a new model the day I ordered it, and it doesn't support rsync over ssh, I think it's a great piece of hardware. But the moment I hit 'enter' to start rsync on my old PowerEdge to backup gigs of media and documents, the PowerEdge died. Go figure...
Turns out the new 20" iMac intel dual core systems are having a issue with waking up after a long sleep.
