Scholarly Request

I've been using the new Google Scholar research tool a fair bit the last couple days. My favorite bit is that it will list all sources of a paper in a single search result item.

Note that instead of linking directly to PDF/PS files, it does a redirect. But it would be really great if the redirect page was both bookmark and del.icio.us friendly by passing the title through or by providing a result item landing page with all the references.

If the later was provided, this would have the effect of becoming the canonical reference to that particular paper.

This would give Google effective ownership of the namespace, in the same fashion Amazon has become for books and other retail items. (Sadly allmusic.com is so sucky it lost any chance to have that distinction for music.)
